Proof of Hurricane Ike Damage

The home must have existing structural damage as a result of Hurricane Ike, which made landfall on September 13th, 2008. Third party verification required.

Eligible Counties

Your home must be located in one of the following counties: Austin, Brazoria, Matagorda, Walker and Waller.

Eligible Home Types

Secondary and vacation homes are ineligible for assistance. Eligible housing types: Single-Family and duplexes up to 4 units, occupied by owners/renters on September 13th, 2008.

Proof of Ownership

All applicants must provide proof they own/lease and occupied the property damaged as a result of Hurricane Ike, which made landfall September 13th, 2008.

Property Taxes Current

All applicants must provide proof that ALL property taxes are current. If property taxes are delinquent, certain restrictions apply.
